Equity Trading

Our trading / sales trading team are highly experienced and ready to offer best execution. Our balance sheet is strong, with the ability to handle in excess of R1bln in daily trade.

The trading desk’s preferred news-wire, media, market data and client communication platform is
Bloomberg, although Reuters is also used for the client communication function. All traders/sales
traders have unfettered access to Bloomberg stations at their desks.

Technology

Our main execution platform is the IRESS Hermes order management system, with the ability to accept FIX orders from all linked clients and provide real-time updates of stock positions, market orders, pricing and basic market metrics to NOAH traders and clients.

Algorithmic trading solutions are accessed via the IRESS HAS algorithm suite and the INSTINET
algorithm suite. We offer our clients a white-labelled product for DMA use where applicable.

Audit & Assurance

We run ACCPAC accounting software, with daily reconciliation to BDA (Johannesburg Stock
Exchange Broker Dealer Accounting). Compliance and procedure manuals are in place, overseen and
managed by  the Financial Director.
No private client business. Institutional equities only.
A PA trading policy is in place.
